Curry Powder
Directions
1. In a heavy bottom pan, add all the whole spices and roast them on low medium flame.
2. Keep stirring and roast the spices till they turn a bit darker in colour about 5-7 minutes.
3. When the spices are roasted, turn off the heat and allow them to cool.
4. Once they have cooled down, grind all the whole spices to a powder in a coffee or spice grinder.
5. Finally add the turmeric and red chili powder to the whole spice mixture and give a good mix.
6. Store in an air-tight container (good for 2 months).
