  • Masoor dal (red lentil curry)
  • Coconut chickpea curry
  • Pulao (rice dish cooked with aromatic basmati rice, vegetables and exotic spices)
  • Tapioca kheer (pudding cooked with tapioca pearls and garnished with cashews and raisins)
Workshop Details

Suitable for beginners and advanced cooks alike.

Hands-on learning, recipe handouts and a meal to share.

Protip: bring containers to take your creations home and an apron as we will not be providing one.

*Please note that the kitchen is not gluten-free.

I'm Chitra, the proud owner and instructor of Krisha Indian Cooking School, a homemaker, wife and mom from Guelph. My vision is to inspire easy, healthy and economical home-style Indian cooking with just a few simple ingredients. I have been teaching Indian cooking classes at the Guelph Continuing Education since 2009 and have had amazing feedback from participants all around.
