Gluten-free Indian Dishes


Looking for gluten-free and vegetarian recipes? Indian Cuisine, particularly South Indian, has a vast array of recipes which are naturally gluten-free and vegetarian as well. This four course menu will include: 
  • Onion bhaji - appetizers made with onions and chickpea flour
  • Savoury crepes - made with chickpea and rice flour with some spices
  • Tomato garlic chutney
  • Sambar - made with lentils, vegetables and tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves
  • Complimentary rice and pappadam

Suitable for beginners and advanced cooks alike.

Hands-on learning, recipe handouts and a meal to share.

** We can accommodate vegan diets as well, please let us know while registering. **

Please note that the kitchen is not gluten free.

Protip: Bring containers to take your creations home and an apron as we will not be providing one.

I'm Chitra, the proud owner and instructor of Krisha Indian Cooking School, a homemaker, wife and mom from Guelph. My vision is to inspire easy, healthy and economical home-style Indian cooking with just a few simple ingredients. I have been teaching Indian cooking classes at the Guelph Continuing Education since 2009 and have had amazing feedback from participants all around.
